Lindsey Flowers crafts her observations into folk anthems that roast the human condition with a wink and a rasp.
Known for her bright breathy voice and fingerpicked guitar, she brings humor and humanity to every song, bridging folk realism, Tokyo-inspired rhythm, and a storyteller’s heart.
Coining the term "Motherhood Revenge Folk," when Lindsey performs, the atmosphere shifts. A quiet room becomes a shared laugh; strangers turn into friends. Her shows are simple and magnetic: barefoot songs beneath string lights and honest lyrics that feel like a conversation you didn’t know you needed to have.
A fingerpicker, lyricist, and vocal samplist, Lindsey’s sound reflects her winding journey from Oklahoma to Africa to Japan and back again. After nearly twenty years of writing privately, she debuted at 40 at The Blue Door’s Women of WoodyFest showcase, a lifelong dream come true. Now an active songwriter and seven-year WoodyFest Coalition member, she continues to write songs that celebrate kindness, humor, and respect for people from all walks of life. Lindsey is currently performing across Oklahoma and preparing to record her first EP, a collection that blends her signature wit, honesty, and touch of house-inspired rhythm into timeless folk storytelling.
